This newborn care class will provide expectant parents with a preview of life with a newborn. Class content will focus primarily on the information, tools and skills needed to navigate through baby's newborn period (first 28 days of life). This class will introduce expectant parents to the joys and potential challenges of early parenting with hands-on activities regarding the basics of baby care. Class topics and activities will include feeding basics, diapering, bathing, normal newborn sleep cycles, and calming your new baby. Expectant grandparents and other care providers may also benefit from and enjoy this class. This class may be taken anytime during your pregnancy.
FEE is NON-REFUNDABLE and due at time of registration via phone or e-mail.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to class start time. You are welcome to bring a snack and water to class.
The class will be held in the Brady Conference Center at the Scottsdale Shea Medical Center. The conference center is located on the first floor.
